Introduction
 BTLock Mini Implant line is the solution for immediate and longterm
stabilization of removable prosthesis.
The system is characterized by a wide range of options concerning:
- Diameter
- Length
- Prosthetic part
Mini Implants are available in three diameters (2 – 2,5 – 3 mm) and
three lengths (11,5 - 13 - 16 mm). The implant length includes the
machine-cut collar (1,5 mm) and BT-Tite threaded part (mix of sandblasting
and acid-etching).
One transgingival height (0,8 mm) and 4 prosthetic solutions are
available:
- Teflon cap with o-ring
- Ferrule with o-ring
- Metal cap with o-ring
- Retaining cap
Static tests performed on Mini implant gave as result a breakingpoint
equalling 190 Ncm (2 mm diameter).
Torsion testing gave as result a breaking point equalling 95 Ncm.
Surgical procedure is simple and no specific knowledge of implant
advanced surgery is required. The kit is as simple as the procedure:
1 pilot drill (to give direction and depth), 2 twist drills (needed to
enlarge the osteotomic site in case of hard bone), 1 straight key (for
insertion by hands), 1 ratchet, 1 extension for ratchet, 1 adaptor for
micromotor.
BTLock Mini Implants are individually packed and gamma-ray sterilized.
Every package includes an implant-carrier which permits the
manual insertion avoiding any external contamination.
